When Akov distillery reduced the quince distillate to 24% alcohol and after two years of patient waiting combined it with honey – we got nothing less than Medunja, a honey-based quince liqueur. Some consider Akov Medunja Liqueur an aperitif, others a dessert, the third a remedy in a glass, but they all share only one thing – a guaranteed sweet smile after tasting.
