Stoka Teran is red wine produced from the Refoska variety in Karst. The character of this red wine is strongly influenced by the Karst red terra-rossa soil. Judging by old records, teran was already famous in Roman times as a wine with healing properties. Gourmets prefer to enjoy Stoka Teran with Karst prosciutto, cured meats and alongside red meat.
