An Imperial White Wine from the Heart of Herzegovina The Carsko Vino Vukoje (Imperial Wine) is an exceptional premium wine with a rich tradition: it was once cultivated exclusively for the imperial courts of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy at the Ušće location. This noble cuvée is dominated by the indigenous grape variety Žilavka (93%) and perfectly complemented by the rare variety Bena (7%). After a selective hand harvest, the wine matures for 12 months in new French barrique barrels, which gives it its creamy structure and imperial elegance.

• Aroma: Complex nose with notes of vineyard peach, ripe quince, cinnamon and Herzegovinian wild herbs, elegantly rounded off by a hint of vanilla.
• Taste: On the palate full-bodied, creamy and distinctly mineral; shows a harmonious interplay between lively freshness and subtle sweetness, followed by a long-lasting, elegant finish.
• Colour: Fascinating old gold with interesting, greenish reflections.
• Serving suggestion: An excellent companion to seafood, fine river and sea fish, white meat (poultry, veal) as well as the finest prosciutto and aged cheese. Ideal drinking temperature at 10–12 °C.
