Budimir Red Wine Svb Rosa 0.75L

Budmir Svb Rosa is a red wine made from specific blend of Serbian Prokupac and Cabernet Sauvignon. Taken literally from Latin Svb Rosa means ‘under the rose’ which further refers to ‘secrecy and confidentiality’.

Svb Rosa is aged for three (3) years in old and new French and Serbian oak casks, of 225L and 3000L. They are kept one year in the bottle, and no filtration occurs before bottling. Svb Rosa has deep, dark purple colour which almost becomes black with purple and black reflections.

On the nose you can sense aromas of blackberry, leather, truffles, pine tree, tar, asphalt and red pepper.

On the palate after a brief decanting it opens up beautifully, it is very complex, strong structured velvety tannins, dark chocolate, mint, cherry brandy, violets and long aftertaste. Aromas of plum jam, red forest fruits, dark chocolate, herbal, paprika. On the palate posses vegetable notes, sweet red peppers and creamy elegant strong tannin structure.

Svb Rosa is the only premium wine from Serbia that won 91 points from Robert Parker for both vintages on the market (2007 and 2009). Also, it was awarded twice with gold medal at China Wine and Spirits Awards in 2013 and 2016.
