Gligora Dinara Cheese 275g
Gligora Dinara Cheese is a pasteurized hard cheese, mixture of cow and goat milk (min 25 %). It was created in 2009 when there was simply too much goat milk for the semi-hard Kozlar cheese, and since the only way was to store the goat milk in a hard cheese, Sime Gligora came up with the idea to follow in the footsteps of his "father" Zigljen, and make a variant with goat milk.
This is how Dinara cheese was created - a mixed cheese made from cow and goat milk, from the area of Dalmatia - hence the name Dinara after Dalmatian highest mountain.
Gligora Dinara Cheese is double winner of WCA trophy and a vice champion of the whole 2014 WCA contest in London.
Dinara cheese has an excellent aroma coming from the right combination of goat and cow milk, and is mildly piquant and nutty with a compact and tasty structure.
