Terasa Sauvignon Blanc Matalj – White Wine 0.75L

The Terasa Sauvignon Blanc 2024 from Winery Matalj originates from the unique "Terasa" site on the slopes above the Danube near Mihajlovac in the Negotinska Krajina region (Serbia). The sandy, well-drained soil and special microclimate give this white wine its distinctive, fresh, and mineral character.

Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, the wine is fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks and then aged for several months on fine lees and in the bottle. This gentle aging process ensures clarity, precision, and aromatic depth.

In the glass, it shows a pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose is dominated by intense aromas of grapefruit, gooseberry, and green apple, accompanied by subtle citrus and herbal notes. On the palate, the wine is very fresh, dry, and lively, with crisp acidity and an elegant mineral structure.

The finish is long, citrusy, and slightly salty-mineral, with nuances of fig and grapefruit.
